So Long Old Friend

Dear Seattle,

Thanks for the many wonderful years. It is in your green embrace that this branch of the Holliman family was born. We rode your ferry boats and studied in your institutions; we fell in love with one another beneath your cloudy skies. You gave us life with 2 beautiful children whom we adore and cherish.

But the time has come to say goodbye. We say goodbye to the friends we have known for more years than we have fingers. We bid farewell to the amazing folks of Hillman City, the best little 'hood you've never heard of.

We will miss the smell of the ocean air and cheering on the Sounders with our favorite cheer "New Socks!"

So dear friend, adieu. Please remember us fondly as we set off for a new adventure in Portland, Oregon.
