We Have Arrived

We had a few hairy days filled with packing, loading, moving, unloading, unloading some more and miraculously shoving the stuff we don't need for our 700 square foot apartment into 3 containers at the U-haul self storage in the pouring rain. Whew. If you are exhausted form that first sentence, that is how we feel. Exhausted, tired yet relieved to be here.

We have already ingratiated ourselves to the Grand Central Bakery AND Pizza establishment across the street from us. Laramie even scored us a free loaf of bread!

Thanks to Medium Joe for all your hard work and heavy lifting; we couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks Big Joe for helping move many boxes and Nana for tending the children all day. Ben and Jess, thanks for shoving loads of goods into containers. You navigated our marital jib-jab without presenting us with divorce papers at the end of the day. That is just how you do it after 7 years of marriage.

And so now we begin the unpacking, the moving in, the nesting without getting too settled. In no time at all we will be house hunting for a permanent home.

In the meantime, we have a lot of playing, bike-riding, making, exploring, eating, entertaining and indulging to do.
