Shrooms

Meet our beautiful mushroommates. They are large, white, odorless, and prolific. In the morning, when I left for work, they are this big:


And this big when I got home.






The first night, we sautéed them in butter, garlic, and some fancy sea salt. Behold the beauty. Their texture is like lightly steamed fresh crab!


The second time, I cooked them into white lasagna. Deeeeelish!


Something about how fast they grow males me feel like we have goonies or little aliens growing in our apartment.
