I must repost this. Laramie had it up on the photoblog but it is just too precious to not do a little cross posting.
Here is the conversation between Laramie and Harper.
Scene: I'm returning ornaments to the top of the christmas tree that have been spread all over the house and a few broken.
H: Can I have that ornament?
M: No.
H: Why?
M: Because you've spread them all over the house and broken a couple.
H: (long dramatic pause, watching me with thoughtful eyes)
Sometimes it's hard to be friends.
M: Why?
H: Because you won't share those ornaments with me.
Damn, that is adorable.
We have the entire Olivia TV series on the 'pooter for Harper to watch. However, she only ever wants to watch the episode about sharing. The episode does a good job of examining the sharing thing from both Olivia's and the adult's perspective. In fact, Olivia even calls out the adults by reminding them they don't have to share their home or car with the neighbors.
There are a lot of unfair things about being a kid. While sharing is nice, I don't particularly want to share my iPhone with Harper on a regular basis. But we are always making her share with Windham.
So kid, I get it. I don't always want to share either. I'm just glad she can't read yet.

My god, that kid is precious!
Hooray for Harper!
Why really should kids have to share all the time? But that is just the Nana talking...
