Regardless, the woman can make an incredible stocking. No one knows exactly how she does it, even her. Each year I watch in awe as she struggles to remember how to make it all work. But these babies are lined on the inside and the jujitsu required to sew them, turn them inside out, get all the seams on the inside, is a true art.
Aubree
Harper
Windham
Big Joe
And finally, Linda*
Sadly, Laramie has not made one for herself. I might make this a joint sewing project for next year. Medium Joe has one as well. I don't have his to photograph but I can tell you it is equally as lovely. It features a mule. That is all I can tell you because this is a family blog.
*For the more astute observers among you, you may have noticed that the stocking actually reads "Linba." We know this is not her name, we are not illiterate, nor are we cognitively impaired. Perhaps I did it upside down? Perhaps in a mad rush to finish it in time for Santa to fill it up, I did not hit spell check. Whatever the reason, the damn thing says "Linba."
It makes for a really great joke every year though.

I see a cottage industry forming with Laramie stitching, Aubree updating the website for online orders, Harper running the design team and deciding that pink, orange, and lime green would be PERFECT on this year's stockings, and Windham picking out the buttons ... and not swallowing a single one!
