The Dark Side

I finally did it. I signed up for a Facebook account. Laramie succumbed back in October to stay in touch with her friend Heidi. She has had a great time connecting with friends from college and high school. But she is the extrovert.

I am the introvert. Not to sound the asshole (but I will), I am much less inclined to reconnect. That said, it is a great tool to find out what the people from your past lives are up to. I always find it peculiar to think of the friends from years back who don't know I got married. The people I have lost touch with along the way who don't know the joy that are Harper and Windham.

Ok, so the curmudgeon in me has to give it up for Facebook. I am officially addicted.

Welcome to the darkside! As an introvert myself, I use facebook primarily to kick my brothers ass at scrabble and read what every one else is up to...not near as bad as I had thought it would be!

I'm with ya, Aubree. I reluctantly opened an account to keep in touch with some friends that use it to share pictures and my friend list has grown mainly despite my actively ignoring the account most of the time! C'est la vie - it IS weird to find out what is going on with the friend you knew in 7th grade, and oddly hard to resist looking for those people...

It's totally addicting. I soon may need an intervention!
