Feeding Time at the Zoo

The Scene:
Laramie was in the kitchen, Windham in his chair at the table and Harper off playing in the living room, finished with her breakfast. Laramie heard a sound that sends panic through every parent's entire being: silence.
Upon turning the corner, there was Harper, sitting at the table with Windham, feeding him pears.
