New restaurant: If by veggies you mean unruly cabbage pieces and by broth you mean grey water, then yes, I guess that's what I want. Blech!

Happy Birthday Big Boy

Today is Windham Porter's 2nd Birthday. Hard to believe it has been 2 years. Last night he was up until 11pm, still wanting to play, jumping around. He must have known he was on the verge of 2 and trying to establish a new bedtime in his older age. Nice try buddy. Also, he is on the verge of sentences. He strings together a few words here and there but he is really ready to articulate. Based on his 1 word directives, we are in for a good time. "Self" "Looka Me" and "Come" are the big three.

So happy birthday WPH. We love you tons.

Buy This House

We've been a little busy the past month. Busting our booties trying to get the house ready to sell. Here are the results. I think the house looks amazing.

Once we sell, we will move to Portland, OR, a place we have fallen in love with the past few years as we go down to visit friends and family.

It has been a crazy month of packing and cleaning and fixing and touching up. The kids are hanging in there. They are feeling our anxiety and stress which means lots of schizophrenic behavior.

We had great help from my mom taking the kids to Portland for 48 hours and Laramie's mom and dad working in the yard, cleaning and taking the kids off our hands for chunks of times.

See the listing here!

Any takers?

Who you talking to?

Scene: Harper talking to someone on the front porch

Harper: My name is Harper. I'm supposed to scare the squirrels away, but I'm not that scary. I don't really scare the squirrels.

Laramie: Harps, who are you talking to?

Harper: Blue. (the cat in our neighbor's bedroom window, who snoozes there most of the day.)
