a little crush
I have a little bit of a crush on the Penny Farthing. Mostly I love the name.
A penny farthing is a bicycle. You know, the one with the huge wheel in the front (the penny) and the wee one in the back (the farthing). They seem so ridiculous yet fascinating at the same time.

Musicals-It's a Gay Thing
This might be the most wonderful musical on the planet.
It is too bad this came after California voters voted for Prop 8. I suppose many of us feel so confidant and secure in our families that we forget we have to keep fighting. Why does the hate continue to shock us? On the other hand, should we spend all of our time and energy thinking about our inequality. Who has time for that with kids to raise, taxes to pay, spouses to love, you know all that hetero marriage stuff…
